Not only did it regulate my system, it also made me feel more energetic. You do have to stick to the instructions given on each packet, and it was very rewarding to do so. Though the taste may be horrid, it is a completely natural product. I recommend this to anyone looking for a natural cleanser.

(More customer reviews)My family and I (5 of us, 6 if you include the mother-in-law :) have been taking the AcaiBlast Chewables for the past 6 months (we upgraded to the 500mg bags after 2 months) and we all wholeheartedly agree that it improved our 1.skin - less flaky; 2.regularity - my wife, mother-in-law, and kids are much more "comfortable," I would always have to hear about their constipation in the past; 3.immune system - only one of us got sick over the winter (and may I add, just very briefly), and knock on wood, we have not been victims of the 2010 pollen season affliction; and 4.energy level - noticeably higher, something that I definitely am aware of when there are 3 kids in our lives. My face did appear a little brighter but that could just be the result of summer being over and my tan naturally receding. I suppose this is one of those things that require patience and a regular routine (which includes additional Vitamin C as I have read online) this all translates to a lot of money seeing as these pills are $45 a bottle. I will try their extra strength version with NAC and if that doesn't show better results in a shorter amount of time I will just switch to a cheaper antioxident and just live with my new tan. Someone who has taken this product longer may be a better judge of its true effectiveness.

Chia Seeds 2 Pounds Review

(More customer reviews)I was introduced to chia seeds by my daughter (a Level 1 Trauma Center emergency room nurse)when I last visited her digs. "Hey dad! Try this..." and then she handed me a 16 oz glass with what I thought I recognized as floating detritus from a poorly washed glass. I looked at her and she said "They're chia seeds!" So I took a big gulp of the drink as she explained how great they were for me. She sent me home with a zip lock bag full of them and her follow-on instructions:
Take 1 TBSP with a 16 oz glass of water once a day for a week.
Take 2 TBSP with a 16 oz glass of water once a day for a week.
Take 2 glasses of water in the morning and afternoon with the two TBSP dosage.
A remarkable think happened after 7-10 days in the process. It was around 2:00 pm in the afternoon and I didn't remember making coffee that morning. I checked my favorite coffee mug (usually used it 2-3x in the morning)and it was brand-spanking clean still in the cupboard. And I haven't felt the need to have coffee since. No withdrawal symptoms, no DT's, nothing. Like I said, the coffee industry is going to HATE this review.
More energy, have lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks, and I'm off of coffee (an addiction I had for over 30 years)!
As for the seller, I received the 5 lb bag double bagged and there was no leakage, anything. Nicely packaged and shipped promptly. I'm hooked for sure...
Although some may disagree, I usually prep 2 glasses for the chia seeds before I go to bed (just leave 'em on the counter)and give them a stir in the morning. I usually add a slug of Trader Joe's cranberry juice to each glass just because if chia seeds are great, then chia seeds with cranberry juice have to be awesome, at least by my way of thinking.
FWIW, I'm NOT a vegetarian - just a regular working stiff who realizes that the results of the health-care system doesn't start with a primary care physician - it starts with us...

Pronto Plus Pinworm Treatment 1 fl oz (30 ml) Review

(More customer reviews)After dealing with pinworms for months, taking prescriptions, and other OTC pinworm medicies I tried this product and it gave me horrible nausea and gas for about 36 hours afterward. I never experienced this with the other medicines. I also don't feel like it worked so I'll just have to go back to the doctor. Pinworms are resilient. I clean and take medicine and clean some more and thay always come back. I think thay're becoming immune to all the medications but if I decide to use another OTC it will be Reese's which tastes MUCH better and gives me no side effects. It's worth the few extra dollars.

(More customer reviews)I love Vega! I use 1 heaping scoop of the natural flavor to make fruit smoothies for breakfast in the morning and I feel energized, focused, and ready to start the day.
I am vegan and I do my best to eat a balanced and healthy diet - but it's not always so easy. Where I work there aren't any food options (other than fast food) so, on the days I don't bring my own lunch, it's so handy to keep some Chocolate Vega in my desk because I can easily make a healthy shake that satisfies me and I don't have to go hungry. I usually mix it with hemp milk and also eat a banana or other piece of fruit with it but I am seriously not hungry at all afterward. And that's just with one heaping scoop. I'm sure that 2 scoops would be just fine even for those of us with larger appetites.
When I do have a shake for lunch, I definitely notice an improvement in my concentration and energy level in the afternoon and even into the evening. I feel sharp. I never experience that 3pm lag that makes most people yawn and run to get afternoon coffee.
I would like to mention that I have a seriously sensitive stomach and I have never experienced any side effects or upset stomach whatsoever with any of the Vega products. It's a whole food optimizer and I can only say that's a good way to describe how it makes me feel - optimized!
I definitely recommend the Vega Whole Food Optimizer and I suggest ordering the smaller sample packets to experiment with your flavor preferences before buying the larger sizes. Also, try mixing it with water, juice, and different "milks" to suit your preferences. (I prefer hemp or soy milk.) Good luck! Here's to your health!

(More customer reviews)This product is a miracle. My hair had been falling out in gobs and I tried everything on the market to stop it. I am a woman and had horrible nightmares about waking up one morning and being as bald as my husband (some men look good bald, but for a woman, it's definitely not pretty!) I went to dermatologists and internists, but the cause was never resolved. I tried Rogaine for women, then rogaine for men (which did help a bit), special shampoos, change of diet, massive doses of vitamins...but still woke with more hair on my pillow than on my head. My current dermatologist suggested trying Biosil and/or Biotin. I took both. The results were amazing. The fallout ceased within a few weeks. I was thrilled! Later, I thought I might try going off the biosil/biotin to see if it might have been a temporary ailment caused by stress, diet, or just bad luck. Big mistake... the fallout came right back. So I will likely stay on the biotin/biosil combo forever. I don't want to take any chances...its not worth the trauma being bald. It takes a few weeks to get in your system so start as soon as you notice any unusual hair loss. And as a side benefit, my nails have grown longer for the first time in my life.. and my skin actually looks better too. Unexpected benefits. I do believe the liquid formula is absorbed faster than the capsules and is much cheaper in the long term. But the capsules are good for traveling and definitely more convenient. Be warned...the liquid does taste awful, but now I take it with mango juice and can't taste it at all. Try your favorite heavily flavored cold beverage. Experiment. Biosil is definitely worth a try if you find yourself with a hair loss problem. Highly recommend this product and the Biotin as well. Do go to a doctor first, as there may be another underlying cause that you may want to eliminate first. Good luck!

I was interested in its varied effects that made it sound like the perfect neuroprotective agent. Like Aricept and Exelon (drugs used for treatment of early Alzheimer's disease), it slows the breakdown of acetylcholinesterase, thus allowing acetylcholine to function longer and better as a neurotransmitter promoting communication between neurons in charge of memory function. Like Namenda (also a drug given to Alzheimer's patients) and Prevagen (look that one up, it's fascinating!), Huperzine protects agains neuronal overstimulation by limiting the flow of calcium into the neuron. Like melatonin, it's a potent anti-oxidant, and like Advil, a potent anti-inflammatory. All four of these properties make this an ideal supplement for those of us aging Boomers wishing to save our brains.
So I fully expected another supplement that makes no difference to the present but we take it in belief that it will positively affect our future health. I did not expect to feel any positive effects, much less a notable effect from day one. But, to my surprise and delight, Huperzine virtually eliminated my background anxiety, the constant, daily fretting and anticipatory worry that slightly colors my thought processes in a negative way. I don't think it's a placebo effect as I had not expected any effect at all. The benefit does wear off by day's end, but I note on rereading the section in the BTP book that Huperzine is meant to be used twice daily.
Swanson Health Products delivered the goods in a prompt and satisfying way. I will continue to buy and take this supplement, and I recommend you give it a try!

Now of course, one must use common sense, it does have caffeine in it but that is not its foundation. Best time to take this is in the morning (or when you wake up) then the next pack 4-5 hours later. Of course you do not want to take it late at night.
More importantly, the product works. I previously used mri black powder with my workouts but took a break from it as I didn't want to over supplement myself. With this product, you will want to drink plenty of water, and don't expect it to be a magic pill. I used this with my normal workouts, and even on non-workout days, the results are showing and my body fat level has decreased 2% from previous level leaving me at about 8% body fat (considered very lean), regardless I am still on my last week of it, so I have not finished. It is 9 pills per pack, which is only the slighest hassle, no big deal. It gives good energy and no crashes. It does contain caffeine, but the more important ingredients are in the thyroid complex as well as the green tea extract.

(More customer reviews)This product is great if you're trying to shed some pounds especially around the belly. However, you will need to change a few things in your diet in order for it to really work.
I used this product back in late 2007. I changed to only drink water and really cut back on my portions at meal time. It won't be too difficult to cut back on portions as this helps curb your appetite pretty nicely. But, it is important that you try and drink as much water as possible when on these pills.
I would take 3 per day usually. Two in the morning and one in the evening. When I followed this simple routine I was able to shed about 25-30 pounds within about 4 months(no joke). I stopped and have put the weight back on, so I just ordered the product again, this time on a monthly plan so that I remember to stay on it.
The really nice part of this product is that you don't get the bad side effects like you do with most diet pills. Other pills usually make you feel weird and give you diarrhea. This product does not do that. Instead, it actually gives you a great deal of energy and makes you feel great if you usually drag through the day and need lots of coffee to stay awake. You will probably not need the coffee if you stay on these pills.

Super Seed - Beyond Fiber Review

Not only does it include both soluble and insoluble fiber, it also includes beneficial probiotic bacteria and on top of that tastes great. Each scoop of Super Seed contains 7g of fiber from whole foods like flax seed, chia seed and legumes. On top of that, since it's a whole food fiber, it also adds nutrition to whatever you mix it with in the form of protein, vitamins, minerals and beneficial fats from the flax seeds(omega 3).
The best part about this is that it doesn't contain Psyllium which is the 'in' fiber these days but a lot of people find that it's too harsh on the stomach and can cause constipation easily if not taken with a lot of fluids. Super Seed is much gentler than your average fiber supplement and tastes great with anything. My favorite way to use it is to add half a scoop to Lifeway's plain kefir. It tastes great and is very healthy for me too. As with any fiber supplement, make sure to drink 6-10 glasses of water a day.

Nature's Way Alive Multivitamin Review

(More customer reviews)In the past I've taken multi-vitamins and felt as if they just weren't really doing anything for me. As a result, I stop taking them and over time didn't really feel any different. (Either positive or negative.)
Recently my Dad and I began taking these and over the course of 3 weeks we both felt overall better. It increased both of our energy levels and even improved (not to get gross) our "bathroom habits."
We ran out of them and stopped taking them for about a week and 1/2 and did we notice a difference! Less energy and a slight change in "movements."
I picked up more vitamins for both of us and we noticed the change again rather quickly.
I have never really been the type of person who endorses or depends on vitamins, but I would definitely recommend these to others and have done so to my friends and family.
