Its not intended for frontal baldness but I used it anyway and in 2 months I have natural colered hairs where they should be! My natural hairline is full of small hairs. They are small and are just now starting to really grow but they are there. I bought a 4 month supply for the cost of a 1 or 2 month supply of rogaine so Im ready to see what happens in the next 2 months. I wouldnt fool with the regular strength when the extra strength works so well. One of the reasons it works so well for me is because im young and everyone is different but I would definetley recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)Loratadine is an antihistamine that is used for typical allergy symptoms, such as a stuffy or runny nose, itchy watery eyes, scratchy throat (due to allergies), and rashes, itching, and hives. (It can also be used in some cases to limit asthma attacks).
Antihistamines block the release of histamine, a naturally occurring substance in the body that produces all the allergy symptoms we want to get rid of.
There are several antihistamines you can purchase over the counter, Loratadine is a second generation antihistamine, and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is the older first generation product. Loratadine will be a bit more expensive than diphenhydramine, as it is the newer of the two. However, I believe it is a much superior product because is has so few side effects.
The usual dose of Loratadine is 10 mg a day. This offers an advantage over the first generation antihistamines (Benadryl), in that they are dosed every 8 hours. The main and most significant advantage of Loratadine over the first generation antihistamines is that Loratadine will not cause drowsiness and has less overall side effects and less adverse interactions with other medications (and alcohol).
People with liver disease should discuss the use of Loratadine with their doctor. Pregnant women should avoid using Loratadine as studies have shown a risk to the fetus.
Loratadine is very effective in treating allergy symptoms. I like the non-sedating quality and the once daily dosing.

Having read once that tablet forms of supplements/medications should dissolve in less than an hour, I always test them by putting one in enough vinegar to cover the tablet and then observing the time it takes to break down. I bought a bottle of these from Costco, good about returns, and the tablet was still quite hard after an hour. I took the remainder back. I understand that stomach acid is much stronger than vinegar, but given alternatives, why not choose a product that gets to work more quickly and doesn't risk "passing on through" one's digestive tract with no benefit.

If you have the same problem, you know what it means. If you DO have the same problem and don't know what to do about it, get this product. It's the same as Imodiom AD, but a LOT cheaper. For me its a miracle drug. I have to take two every day, so I need a source at a good price and this can't be beat....Richard.

I'm pissed - I had read that sulfate had been tested and shown to be effective and I wanted sulfate.

HOWEVER, they state on the product info that the source of chondroitin is bovine, which is an absolutely critical buying criteria for those who follow Jewish or Muslim laws, and I wouldn't buy this product from them unless is was from cow cartliage, not a pig product. The bottle they sent me lists the sources as "Bovine, Porcine, Avian" which is totally unacceptable and clearly a case of false advertising! Amazon willingly gave me a refund, but the point is that the seller lied and I certainly won't trust them again.

You must take it as directed 2 - 3 times a day, and it takes a couple of weeks for it to get into your system. The response is not immediate, but if I skip my dosage for two or three days, I begin to hurt again very quickly. Worth every penny to me.

So you're getting a little less EPA and considerably less DHA compared to the prescription fish oil pill. But for me (and I'd assume most people who have pharmacy copays and/or deductibles), the cost of taking one additional supplement capsule per day is ultimately FAR less expensive than going prescription.
