It really helps us to wind down and get to sleep. Now whenever we feel the product is not working as well then we just switch to another product for one month then come back to this product and it works great again. I would recommend this product. It does taste good too.

(More customer reviews)I have been taking the supplement for 4 years and it really works. I find I sleep better, wake up better, and have more balance in my day. When I am stressed, driving long distances, or over-tired, I take 2 capsules a day, and normally I take one. If you go to their website, you can get 6 bottles for $20 a bottle, which is about a year supply. I do not think Amoryn is the only supplement you should take, but it is the only one I won't miss each day. It has never upset my stomach and I take it in the morning with water. Some people say it is too stimulating to take at night. Taking a good C and B Complex, along with magnesium and iron is important. I have always been pleased with the company and its' product. You need to take it for at least 2-3 weeks before you notice a difference. It may be so subtle that you don't realize it. I become calmer and more rested soon after taking it.

The first thing I noticed is that I didn't remember falling asleep. I usually lay awake for a long time before falling asleep but I fell asleep as soon as I went to bed. The next morning I awoke refreshed without the "hangover" feeling left by sleeping pills. I took the next dose that morning and it didn't make me drowsy or jittery or "high" as some antidepressants. I just felt calm-It really works!

I am way more calm now and actually got a good nights sleep last night. My blood pressure was actually lower, too. Major stress for the last couple of years actually depleted my GABA -I think I have this right because taking it really made a big difference. From what I understand this form of GABA actually crosses the blood/brain barrier because other forms of GABA do so very minimally. I really recommend this product for anyone who has a lot of stress and anxiety, etc.-which, unfortunately is pretty prevalent in our world today. I thank God for helping me find this product.

It is also a wonderful choice for occasional users who can't justify getting a prescription for the every-once-in-a-while high stress day.
Expect to experience the calmness purported from the herbs approximately 45 minutes after taking the pill and the most effective dose appears to be one pill, not the two the bottle suggests trying. There were no noticeable increases in effects with the addition of a second pill.
The bottle suggests you take it between meals and if you read between the lines this appears to mean take it on an empty stomach. Increasingly better results were found the emptier my stomach was.
This Bupleurum Calmative Compound has also been very effective on curbing the moody side of PMS symptoms. Initial reports from the wife are positive and we have a significantly more peaceful time of the month while she is on these.
All in all this product is highly recommended but a star was subtracted for the high price.
