(More customer reviews)My son, who is in 1st grade, has had a lot of trouble with school. He is not officially diagnosed with ADHD, but the checklists suggest it. To describe him, he has a ton of hyperactive and impulsive behaviors. He gets angry easily, especially during transition times. He reacts without any thought of consquences. He gets in really goofy moods, that are impossible to get him out of. He runs and jumps on furniture, always has to take physical risks, without fear of injury. I do not want to put my growing child on stimulants, so we are exhausting everything else first.
I have been a vitamin taker all my life. I have had him on b-complex, which I take for my nerves, but decided to give this a try. He has been taking it for a few weeks now and I just got a call from his school. Every time I see their number on my phone, I assume the worst. This however was a good report. He teacher said that he has been great for a whole week. He is making better choices and not acting up. Also that he demonstrates more self control.
You do not know how great this is! I was getting calls from the school about 2x a week, he was kicked out of an after school program and another parent suggested that she would call the authorities on me if my son ever touched her son again...so needless to say, it's been hard. Getting a good report really makes me happy.
I hope other parents who feel the same way about drugs, will read this review and give it a try!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product for my nephew who has ADHD. This product made him extremely aggessive and uncontrollable. I spoke with his doctor in reference to this matter and was informed that many children with ADD and ADHD, when taking some of the health supplements can make things worse instead of better. I must say I didn't know who this kid was with the behavioral changes nor did his teachers. Although he was always active now he was more than active, he became aggressive with emotional highs and lows. Once the pills were out of his system he was his normal active self. Be very careful if you chose this product. The changes happened after a week of taking "Attention". I will not make that mistake again. This product may work for some but I wouldn't promote it.

(More customer reviews)For seasonal allergies this is very effective. My son always presents with allergy shiners in Spring and Fall. This Spring we used the children's claratin to only minimal relief. His congestion was still pronounced. This Fall, the shiners were back and I tried the D-Hist Jr. His congestion is much less. The tablets taste good. And there is no risk of the allergy medicine "fog" interfering with his school day.
The product contains natural histamine REDUCERS. Not blockers, like over the counter or perscription medicine.
I am anxious to try the adult version for myself.

(More customer reviews)I stumbled upon these at a closeout store and bought them just in case my new kindergartener needed some help falling alseep to her new schedule. Well we definitely got use out of them.I needed to get another bottle. I didn't find them at my local drugstores or walmarts so I searched online.The price is very reasonable. They are placed under the tongue and melt away. Kind of sweet tasting.My daughter usually falls asleep within fifteen minutes of first dose. My son who is very active and has trouble settling down sometimes gets three doses in a night. They are all natural so I am not worried about any side effects. They just seem to calm down the kids so they can get to sleep.Let's be honest. As parents we sometimes wish we could give our kids benedryl to get them to go to sleep. These calming tablets are a blessing.

(More customer reviews)I wanted to find a couph medicine that tasted better than store bought ones. I had not tried this one before but had used the other pill forms of other products/items by same maker and they worked well. This product worked easily in that there was no fighting to get my 4 year old to take it - he actually is starting to pretend he's sick to get some (but we're on to him!) It lasts an about two hours or so and since it doesn't have the "scary" ingredients of regular products, giving him a second dose every 4 hours is fine and I feel comfortable with it. Just having the hassle of him NOT running away from couph syrup makes this worth it, but it does give relief for awhile. I tasted it and liked it too. Recommend it for those who want to use a more natural way of helping kids cope with couphs, especially if they do not like the tastes of what the pharmacy over the counter has. I love Hylands!

(More customer reviews)One of the reviewers here is correct about large producers packaging their whey isolates under a variety of different brand names, but I was only able to find a few hydrolyzed whey proteins offered from all the products currently available online (there are many). I only found a few similar to this one with the distinction of being hydrolyzed which is presumably easier to digest and contains the highest available percentage of protein. A 28 gram serving of this product contains 25 grams of protein or 90% protein by weight. I have been buying whey protein powder for more than 15 years and used all the popular brands. This is simply the best whey I have ever used and tastes different than any others I've known up till now. Zero fat and zero carbs per serving. I no longer use or recommend soy isolates and while I have found some good quality brown rice protein powders the taste is so unpleasant I would stick to whey.
Since I was recently new to this whey product, I always start by purchasing vanilla since that's usually the most difficult flavor to do well (in my experience). If I don't like the taste, vanilla is always good to have around for adding to fruit smoothies (a smoothie easily overwhelms any subtleties of an objectionable vanilla whey flavor). If I like the taste of their vanilla I'll serve it solo as well as in smoothies. Once I know I like the vanilla, chocolate is usually next. This vanilla is excellent as far as vanilla goes and I'll be ordering more flavors soon. I use a VitaMix to quickly and easily mix a tasty 12 ounce serving.
One trick I can pass along for making a delicious glass is to start with a 16 oz measuring cup. If you have a crushed ice dispenser in your frig door put a few ounces of ice into your measuring cup and fill with water up to the 12 oz mark. Dump the ice and water into your VitaMix and blend at high speed (the idea being to make the water very cold while making any evidence of the ice disappear). With the VitaMix still running at the slowest rpm (stir speed) quickly add one scoop of this protein powder into the freezing cold water and run another 10 to 15 seconds. Pour into a glass and serve while cold. WOW! Is that Good! I don't like running the blender fast with the protein powder already in the water because it makes a foamy drink I don't find enjoyable.
Great for diets, snacks throughout the day, for feeding your muscles after weight training. This is a great product. If you are looking for the highest quality whey isolate at the best possible price, this 5lb size is your lowest price best value deal from all comparable labels (at least at the time I'm writing this review). Be sure and shop price because I you can easily pay more than twice the lowest available prices.

Apparently purchasing the product on Amazon voided their guarantee that it would work. Not sure how you can't stand behind your product simply because of the store from which it was purchased, but I think we know the answer to that.

The instructions say it takes 3 to 4 applications per day for about 4 days for it to become effective (then you can reduce the number of applications per day), but I was getting relief within a couple of days. I am fearful of the many side effects that this medication has and sought a natural approach. My son has been taking these supplements for about 2 months and I really see a difference. Not only do I see a difference, but others who know him have commented that he seems more focused and less high strung. He actually sits through an entire meal and eats. I feel that this is the way to go for us.

It did help it subside for a little while, but then the cough would come back. However, I felt better being able to give him something for it. Since he is under 2, I can't give him normal cough medicine so being able to give him this made me feel like I was doing something to help, which it did.

(More customer reviews)If you are reading the reviews on Claritin, you probably already know it is a wonderful allergy medication, so my review isn't really on the Claritin itself. My son, who is 4, suffers from seasonal allergies. The children's Claritin works great for him, but it is so expensive that I went to our family pediatrician in search of a cheaper method. His pediatrician informed me that the childrens Claritin contains 5mg of the active ingredient, and the adult RediTabs contains 10mg...thus cutting the RediTab in half results in the same dosage as the childrens. This has been a wonderful help in paying for my son's Claritin because an adult box of 30 RediTabs lasts him 60 days for the same price as a childrens box of 20 chewable tablets. Now, I am no doctor and am only relaying to you what my childs pediatrician said was OK to do. :-)
