New Chapter Zyflamend Review

(More customer reviews)I have taken Zyflamend for approx two years. First heard about it through DrWeil.com (He is all about intergrated medicine.
I ordered the 120 capsules for $27.47. plus 4.99 shp. This was my first time ordering this product on line. Previously I purchased this at a health food store. Which I will no longer do because I was paying $27 plus tax for only 60 capsules.
Just be careful when ordering not to go for the 90 capsules for I think it said $17 something. They are smaller capsules for those who map have difficulty swollowing a large capsule. Keep in mind you would have to take more of the small to eqivalent the dose you get from the large capsule (60 or 120 size bottle)
I had read a previous review where someone purchased the small bottle of 90 thinking it was the same thing.
It would be nice for it to detail that in the description so no one else would make that oversight.
As for the product ...what greater way is there to take something that controls imflammation. I have osteo arthritus in my hips and it works for me....with out the risk and side effects of Viox and all the other prescription drugs that attack the cox two inhibitors. Must be taken in the middle of a meal. It will digest better. Read the info in the box.
Also..my total body inflammation level went from 3.2 to under .5 over one and a half years. Total body inflammation level can be found out by a blood test called CRP-Reactive Protien blood test. (a high level is a predictor for heart problems)
so......Great product .....go for it.

I've logged as high as 50 miles per week and my total mileage would be more than enough to run around the circumference of the world. I've completed 11 marathons with a best time of 3 hours, 27 minutes. The running was fun and provided excellent competition and fitness. My non-running friends used to warn me that my excessive running time was going to ruin my joints, especially the knees. Well I'm now almost 75 and my knees have held up fine but in recent years I've had some trouble with painful ankles. Even extensive walking seems to bother them at times. One of my friends suggested "Joint Juice." OK, it was worth a try. I picked up a case and drank a can every day for at least six months. I drank it every morning and used it as a fruit juice.
Did the "Joint Juice" help my problem? Quite frankly, I couldn't really tell. It was inconclusive. This is one of those "health food" things where the testimonials are glowing but the scientific data are inconclusive. My joints seemed better, but were still not fully back to pain free. I've gone on hikes of up to five miles with little problem, however. Was the improvement due to the use of "Joint Juice?" Perhaps. I mentioned the problem to another friend that said it might indeed help, but in his opinion I should be taking Glucosamine plus Chondroitin and that "Joint Juice" had Glucosamine only. At that point, I started taking a glucosamine/chondrioitin tablet. My impression was that it helped more than the "Joint Juice." Well, about a week ago I was shopping at my local warehouse store and there was a palate of new improved "Joint Juice" with cases of thirty plastic bottles. Of course, I had to try it.
I like the new formula and I like the fact that it comes in small bottles. I can use it as a fruit juice with my morning meal and I much prefer it to the pill form. Some people have complained about the taste, but it doesn't bother me at all. After all, I'm trying to use it as a medication, not as a soda pop. I think that drinking it ice cold is best and it goes down well as a morning drink. I plan to stick with it for at least three or four cases. I'm convinced that the glucosamine/condroitin combination has helped my ankles and this is the easiest and most convenient way of taking it.

Things got to a point where I had to take ibuprofin after every workout, and I knew this wasn't something that I could not continue for a long period of time. I started looking on the internet for alternative/natural pain relief remedies and found this particular product. I decided to purchase Arthrizen and started taking the prescribed dosage. I was incredibly surprised after 4 days of taking Arthrizen, I noticed my pain starting to lessen. After a couple of weeks, I realized that I wasn't having any more pain! This product is not an instant pain relief product, but works cumulatively over a period of days and/or weeks.
After I realized how effective this product was, I decided to give it to my husband, who had been in a car accident, and had a severe lower back injury. He had been taking prescription pain pills and had gotten pain shots over the duration of a few months. The pills made him very "out of it", and they only helped so much. He was feeling very depressed about being in so much pain all of the time, so I suggested that he try taking Arthrizen to see if it would help. He didn't believe that a natural pain relief remedy would do anything for him, but he took it anyway out of desperation. After a couple of weeks, he couldn't believe how much better his back was feeling, and he was completely coherent! He told me that he finally felt like he was out of the prison of pain he'd been in! I actually couldn't belive it either!
Anyway, I would highly recommend trying Arthrizen if you want to try a pain remedy that is natural, safe, and very effective!!!

My original intent was to use this as a maintenance product and hopefully reduce the effects of arthritis and maintain a high level of activity going into old age. As a physician I am aware of the controversies surrounding studies of glucosamine and glucosamine - chondroitin combinations, including the NIH sponsored study that was essentially negative but that used glucosamine hydrochloride rather than glucosamine sulfate.
Those controversies aside, medicine really has nothing to offer men or women who are aging and physically active , and develop osteoarthritis. Before I became interested in glucosamine - I listened to the usual medical advice about taking acetaminophen or NSAIDs. Knowing the toxicity of NSAIDs my goal has been to avoid them. The lack of any actual reasonable arthritis treatment from general medicine has been the main impetus for using this supplement.
When I finally decided to try glucosamine, I was not aware that all supplements were not alike. I initially tried some chain pharmacy supplements and got tremendous headaches. I subsequently learned that glucosamine was extracted from shellfish. Today it is very common to look at all of the glucosamine supplements in a drugstore and find that they all have warnings for people who have shellfish allergies. This supplement is the only one that is pharmaceutical grade glucosamine and it has not caused me to get any side effects.
If you decide to try glucosamine go into it with your eyes wide open. There is minimal data to suggest that it is an effective pain reliever or that it significantly reduces joint space narrowing that is thought to correlate with advancing osteoarthritis. On the other hand organized medicine has nothing to offer and this is a good product that appears to be manufactured to high standards.
I have no conflicts of interest related to this review. I have attached a new reference that is an excellent review of the literature, controversy, and prior studies of glucosamine and chondroitin in specific forms of osteoarthritis. After using this for a few days straight, the pain would lesson considerably. Then when I stopped, the pain came back to the level that I had before using the product. (More customer reviews)I did a lot of research on supplements after hearing from a friend who runs that glucosamine and chondroitin helps with joint problems. My knees were starting to really suffer after long runs. While I don't think my knees will ever be perfect, if you take these regularly it really does help. I did a lot of brand research and many of them have lower doses of the ingredients. This is one of the best brands, two caplets has the full recommended dose of MSM/chondroitin and glucosamine. Make sure you take them regularly and hydrate well! These will help cushion your joints. Good for a runner!

The bottles I received are "Green" with only 90 softgels. This has happened several times before. I can't believe the ad stays!! How come I'm NOT receiving the 10% extra bottles "As advertised?"

(More customer reviews)Twice as expensive as Kirkland. The ingredients list makes it seem as if each tablet contined the amounts mentioned, 750Mg, 600mg, etc. Not so. It is actually half of that.
It takes 4 tablets per day to get 1500 mg Glucosamine. 2 capsules per serving, but two servings per day are required.
It takes 2 Kirkland tabs per day.
