(More customer reviews)I had bought this expectorant locally for a cold I'd had. It was excellent for clearing my sinuses and lungs, and also somewhat for my eustacean tubes. The effective ingredient is Guaifenesin, same stuff that's in Mucinex.
Then I brought home a new lab puppy who developed an upper respiratory infection, and had a hard time clearing her throat especially while trying to sleep. I live in the dry Colorado Rocky Mountains. A 1/8 tsp to 1/2 tsp dose (she was growing) worked wonders, quickly loosening the phlegm and allowed her to spit it up. There were no side effects for either of us, just an elimination of thick phlegm.
I will always keep some on hand from now on, and of course Amazon offers the most reliable best deal!
