(More customer reviews)I did some research on the internet about red yeast rice and guggul so I bought it for my husband because his cholesterol was a little bit high. When he takes the stuff it really works! His cholesterol goes down. Of course a good diet helps also. When my husband takes this product along with a good diet of mostly vegetables, cutting the meat way back, his cholesterol goes down dramatically. I think it is much better than using drugs that damage your liver and cause sever aches and pains through the muscles in your body. This product has no side effects. When he stopped using this product for awhile his cholesterol went back up. There is no quick fixes out there for anything, so if you really want cholesterol to go down, stay on a heathy diet of lots of veggies and alot less meat. You can not take this product and then go out and eat sausage and eggs and steak every day and expect your cholesterol to go down or stay in healthy range. Just as you can not with drugs either.
For those who may think it was the diet only that lowered his cholesterol, your wrong. We did it with and without diet changes and he still had cholesterol lowered using this product. It is pretty good in my view. I hope this review helps.
