If I'm already sick, I take this and the cold goes away faster. It tastes pretty good. You can make hot or cold drinks with it. I've only tried it cold and it's not grainy or gross at all. It's almost like a fruit flavored drink. I have friends who like to make it into a kind of tea and it works for them. So far, everyone I know who has tried this product has loved it.
