(More customer reviews)I suffer from chronic Gerd. Unfortunately I am not covered by insurance and cannot afford Nexium ,which would help immeasurably. A friend recommended Omeprazole several months ago. I tried it for two weeks and was amazed at the relief,that transpired.From time to time ,I will take a two week regime of Omeprazole and no longer suffer as I did. Highly recommend it if you are desperate for relief from Gerd. It needs to be taken the first thing in the am,before eating.All acid reflux,etc are eliminated after that dose for the day.I checked with a pharmacist and there are no known side effects.
