(More customer reviews)I am diabetic and also take statins as well as Metformin. Both of these drugs can cause liver damage. I had also been a heavy drinker and my liver enzymes were high. In 8/04 my ALT was 112, in 10/07 it was 51, this was after taking LiverCare for only 10 weeks, my latest test was 35 on 1/2/08. My AST was 90 in 04, 49 in 07, and 24 in 08! My Doctor was so impressed she wanted to know the brand name and maker. LiverCare by Himalaya is the REAL deal if you are a drinker or take any drugs that can compromise your liver function you need this product. I highly recommend it as does my Doctor.
