(More customer reviews)I am preparing for a Septoplasty and Turbinate reduction surgery. I was told ahead of time that having a rinsing kit was essential for easing some of the "crusties" caused from the surgery and the splints. As I prepare for my surgery, I have been using the wash for the first time in my life. What a soothing (albeit strange at first experience). My allergist recommended this for me a long time ago -- but embarrassingly, I was a little scared to shoot water up my nose thinking that it would feel akin to pool water, etc. Well, it took just a couple squirts (and a little psyching) to get over it. I am glad I did.
I chose this manual method over the machines because I know I can control the flow more easily. It was also substantially cheaper.
My surgery is scheduled for 1/15/09 and I know that I will be ready to do the rinses. I'm glad I bought this kit. It was worth it. :)
