They do not require refrigeration so the bottle doesn't get burried in the fridge like some other acidophilus products and you can take them on trips without having to worry about keeping them refrigerated. I have seen them work wonders in friends with irritable bowel, GI infections and anitbiotic related distress and I really believe they have helped strengthen my immune system. The intestinal tract is the largest immune organ in the body and keeping the gut healthy helps keep the body healthy. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to supplement their diet with probitoics for digestive and immune health.
