I used this product in conjunction with chiropractic and homeopathic arnica for round ligament pain during my last pregnancy. I saw a definite difference in my comfort level with chiropractic alone, chiropractic and arnica, and with all three. When I took the bellis perennis I had no pain or discomfort, while I still had some discomfort with arnica alone and still a little pain between adjustments without any homeopathics.
Many will argue that homeopathics are placebo- well there is nothing wrong with that if it works for you! No side effects, safe when pregnant and nursing, seems like a great deal! This is not one of the most popular remedies and even though I live in a major city I had to order it. Amazon made it easy!

There is no credible mechanism by which homeopathy could work, no reason to believe it should work, and the collective weight of scientific evidence is that it does not work other than as a placebo. In other words, you think you're going to feel better so you do, a bit, for a while. Homeopaths believe they are engaging in "holistic healing" of the "miasms" that cause disease. There is no credible evidence that this is true. Belief in homeopathy has caused people to forego conventional treatment leading to unprotected exposure to malaria and agonising deaths from untreated cancer.

Chiropractic is more of a problem. There's some evidence of effect in obscure lower back pain, but this is generally reckoned to be no different form physiotherapy. The belief of chiropractors that health is linked to "spinal subluxations" and the flow of "innate intelligence" (a Westernised version of chi) has no basis in fact and there are numerous cases of people suffering death and serious injury due to artery tearing during chiropractic manipulation.

I suspect that you would get the same benefit from meditation and yoga, without the risks. For more on the risks of belief in unproven treatments see http://whatstheharm.net
